What is the difference in the materials used to make the outdoor 4x8 and 4x4 pole signs?
We offer these outdoor signs with and without Post or pole frames. No matter which one you choose we will do our best to make sure that they last you as much time as possible in the outdoors.
All signs are made using the same techniques. But different substrates have a varying cost. We try to do all we can to absorb that cost to keep our prices as low as possible.
Here are the materials that we currently offer for our large outdoor post signs.
10mm Corrugated Plastic • This is a very popular choice, mostly for the fact that 10mm plastic is quite thick. Making the outdoor sign very durable. And allows us to offer a large 4x8 or 4x4 outdoor sign for a lower price than MDO and other substrates. I recommend these if you need the sign for a year outdoors, but many last 2 years. And, you need a large outdoor sign, at the lowest price possible. Corrugated plastic can save you money and give you a nice professional sign.
MDO • These are what is traditionally used and for most sign shops the standard material when making a large 8x4 and 4x4 outdoor post and pole sign.
